Highlights

Highlights!!!

This is done with the ipod/iphone app- Color Blast. This app allows us to highlight only certain areas in our photos and also change the color of the highlighted area there by helping us to update the photos with a nice highlighted view.

If you would remember I had already posted this photo in my previous blog celebration, this photo has been edited to give more meaning to the theme.

I am loving this app.. Look at the nice result we have got below.

I am now thinking to take some nice photos in the Christmas decorations done by our neighbors and I am eagerly waiting for the snow as the snow would give us some nice touch.. Wait for more in the coming weeks. Until then Happy Blogging!

Firework - Night photography

Fireworks photography is done with long exposures, I used AV mode for these photos, giving more priority to Aperture I was able to obtain this magical view.

Since fireworks are continuous light source, with long time exposure the light was blurred and I had a patch of light in my camera. So i tried with Aperture priority, Keeping a control on the amount of light source that would come in my camera and allowing the camera to control the shutter speed.

Another challenge in fireworks photography was when to start the clicking, Is it right when the crackers start or during the peak burst, I found that when we actually click a few seconds from when the firework bursts, we will be able to capture the magic, when we click during the peak burst then we actually miss the time as it happens in a fraction of time

Fall for nature

I am thankful, for the opportunity God has given me to live in New Hampshire during this Fall season. If heaven is a place where you go and wonder with your eyes wide open and go out of words to explain and all you could do is take a deep breathe... New Hampshire is like Heaven now.
